I love words. For the power they have to open your mind, make your heart thunder

in your chest, or allow you to sob over a beautifully-written book.

My +20 year journey as a career wordsmith saw me start out in the crazy beautiful world of fashion magazines, then move into the arena of branded content and digital media.

These days, I'm madly juggling a freelance career, getting my first YA novel published, and launching a new lifestyle content platform, while simultaneously trying (and sometimes failing) to remain sane for my two teens, three furballs, and one very patient husband…

a multi-channel content platform that gives the Fans & Followers of SA celebrity, Jeannie D, sneak peeks into her jet-set lifestyle, and easy access to the #jeannieous brands, products, places and people that she loves to discover.

Will be publishing regular Book Club reviews and author interviews across the channel.


Launch editor of seventeen magazine in South Africa which won two prestigious industry awards during my tenure.


Other editor roles: Deluxe Magazine, Edgars CLUB magazine (1m subscribers), Club MAN Magazine, plus the LUXE guide shopping supplements.


Magazine features have been published in: ELLE, House & Leisure, VISI, Cosmopolitan, Modern Wellness, Women's Health, National Geographic Traveller, Real Simple, deLUXE and Shape.


Currently exclusive to 2 Stories Content Agency, working on the Rupert & Rothschild account.

I work as a weekly remedial reading volunteer for a non-profit organisation, helping grade two learners at an impoverished state primary school improve their reading skills.
